Art in the Park
<p>Join us for an evening of creativity at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park's Art in the Park, Saturday, October 17, from 5 to 7 PM! </p>
<p>Capture the natural beauty of the park with watercolor landscapes, guided step by step by a talented local artist. This is a free event, and supplies will be provided. Space is limited, so please register in advance by email at <a href="mailto:guco_education@nps.gov">guco_education@nps.gov</a> or by phone at (336) 288-1776 to reserve your spot. </p>

Veterans Day Commemoration Battlefield Hike
<p>In honor of Veterans Day, join us for a ranger-led guided hike of the battlefield. Along the hike, guests will learn about the battle of Guilford Courthouse and how infantry tactics of the time contributed to the battle's outcome. Reenactors will provide a musket demonstration during the hike. </p>
<p>The hike is 1.5 miles. It should take about 90 minutes. </p>
<p>Note: The hike is subject to change and/or cancelation due to inclement weather, heat, or other unforeseen circumstances. Weather-appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes are recommended. Hikers should carry water.</p>

The Battle of Guilford Courthouse
<p>Join us for a ranger led discussion of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. Learn how British and American soldiers experienced the battle and how it affected the course of the Revolutionary War. </p>
<p>Programs last around 30 minutes and may include up to a quarter mile walk.</p>
<p>Note: Programs are subject to change and/or cancelation due to inclement weather, heat, or other unforeseen circumstances. Weather-appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes are recommended. </p>
