Lighthouse: 250 / 200 Celebration Evening Series: The Erie Canal and Our Lighthouse

Lighthouse: Evening Tower Tour

<p>Watch the sunset from a new perspective, at the top of the Fire Island Lighthouse. Bring a flashlight for your walk back to the parking field. $15 for FILPS members/$25 for non-members. Reservations Required. Sunset 7:50 pm.</p>

Lighthouse: 250 / 200 Celebration Evening Series: The Story of the Savannah

<p>Tony Femminella, a trustee of the Fire Island Lighthouse Preservation Society recounts the 1821 wreck of the SS Savannah off of Fire Island and how in 2022 a section of the wreck is believed to have been uncovered by a storm and now resides at the Fire Island Lightstation. Limited occupancy, donations accepted.</p>
